A successful Sunday bike ride through Napa

June 22, 2014 was a beautiful sunny day in the North Bay—the perfect day for a 24 mile bike ride through the City of Napa. Co-led by our fellow bike-enthusiasts from the Napa Bicycle Coalition, the Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition, Friends of the Napa River, and the Napa Chapter of the Sierra Club, our Napa City Bike Tour outing was a huge success, and a lot of fun to boot.

With a capacity crowd of 40 riders—including Executive Director of the Napa County Bicycle Coalition, Michael Costanzo, and Executive Director of the Napa Farm Bureau, Sandy Elles—attendees learned about all things Napa (there’s more than just wine!). It was very educational to hear about the different projects happening around the city such as Napa Pipe, the Napa Valley Vine Trail, and infill development projects downtown.

Thanks to everyone who braved the gorgeous weather to spend a Sunday with us!
