Up Dry Creek Without a Paddle
We’ll soar with the raptors (in spirit) as we hike the hills of Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park.
Our route leads to Tolman Peak, a peaceful perch in East Bay hills, but also the site of the worst aviation disaster in Bay Area history. We’ll hear the sad story of Flight 615, as well as the happier history of how three sisters helped preserve this area as parkland.

We’ll assemble near the parking area for Dry Creek Garden. There is a restroom at our meeting spot.
Bring water, lunch, dress in layers, and wear good hiking shoes. Bring poles if you normally use them. If you have questions about this outing, email Ken Lavin or phone him at (415) 543-6771 (ext 321).
