Up Dry Creek Without a Paddle

Date:
Sunday, October 23, 2016
Time:
9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Cost:
Free - Reservations Required
Place:
Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park
400 May Road, Union City, Alameda County

We’ll soar with the raptors (in spirit) as we hike the hills of Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park.

Our route leads to Tolman Peak, a peaceful perch in East Bay hills, but also the site of the worst aviation disaster in Bay Area history. We’ll hear the sad story of Flight 615, as well as the happier history of how three sisters helped preserve this area as parkland.
