Marin Headlands Dog Hike
Bring your rockhound along for a hike on the Lagoon and Coastal Trails in the Marin Headlands.
There is lots to see (and sniff) as we rove along the coast, from Jurassic Age rocks made of prehistoric plankton to a World War II gun battery now occupied by peaceful newts.
Dogs are optional. Everyone is welcome on this outing.

We’ll assemble near the restrooms at the Marin Headlands Visitor Center parking area.
Bring lunch, water, dress in layers, and wear good hiking shoes. Bring poles if you normally use them. If you have questions about this outing, email Ken Lavin or phone him at (415) 543-6771 (ext 321).
