Mount Diablo State Park
Clayton, Contra Costa County

Kick off the spring wildflower season with a hike through a Bay Area botanical hotspot.

We’ll climb Twin Peaks in Mount Diablo State Park to view the riot of spring colors offered up by our April bloomers, including some rare floral gems found only on Mount Diablo. Lunch will be atop Twin Peaks, with a beautiful view of Diablo’s canyons to the south and the rolling hills of the closed Concord Naval Weapons Station to the north, where Greenbelt Alliance is working to help promote smart growth and a new regional park.
