Rockin’ Out in Marin

Everyone knows that the Marin Headlands rock. Let’s delve deeper into why that is, shall we?

On this geology hike, we will explore the cliffs of Rodeo Beach, search for carnelians (sorry, no collecting), and get wacky over greywacke sandstone along the coastal trail.  After this outing, you’ll be a Marin Headlands rockstar!

We’ll assemble near the picnic tables in front of the Marin Headlands Visitor Center. [directions]
