Pre-event
Outreach
Responsibilities include:
• Distributing promotional materials near your home, work or school
• Forwarding invitation emails to your friends, family, and colleagues
• Asking your employer to sponsor this event
• Other ideas welcome!

Greeters
Responsibilities include:
•
At San Leandro BART, direct concert goers to free shuttles
• Welcome attendees at Will Call
• Entertain guests when waiting in line for anything
|
Concession
Responsibilities include:
•
Distribute Greenbelt Alliance promotional materials
•
Sell Greenbelt Alliance merchandise
• Accept new member payments and one-time contributions
•
Answer questions about Greenbelt Alliance
•
Sign people up for more information or to volunteer
|
Security
Responsibilities include:
•
Monitor off-limit areas of the venue
•
Redirect concert goers
•
Provide privacy for backstage guests
• Notify Greenbelt Alliance staff of disruptions/problems

Ushers
Responsibilities include:
• Direct guests from entrance gate to stage area
•
Distribute event program to crowd
• Assist attendees in locating restrooms and concessions
•
Monitor crowd for banned items
•
Provide back-up to other volunteer positions

Logistics
Responsibilities include:

Duties vary
• Assist with set-up or break-down of event
• Monitor restrooms
• Litter patrol
• Provide back-up to other volunteer positions

Parking
Responsibilities include:
• Direct parking at venue
• Collect parking fee
• Distribute parking passes/assist VIP's
• Point attendees in direction of entrance gates
