Notes: Discover birding in an urban environment-Sutro Baths and Sutro Heights Park (part of the GGNRA). Our route covers two very diverse bird populations. We will observe the shore and sea birds of the Pacific Coast from Sutro Baths. At Sutro Heights Park we will view the winter migrants that use the park as a resting place after crossing the Golden Gate. Bring binoculars, instruction on their use provided.

Rain Policy: Rain cancels.

What to bring: Good walking shoes, warm clothing, and binoculars( instruction on their use provided).

How to get there: We will meet at 8:30 at the Merrie Way parking lot overlooking Sutro Baths. (Point Lobos and Merrie Way). Parking is free, SF Muni access, Bus #18, and 38, with the 38 stop at 48th and Point Lobos a short block away.
