Notes: Join Greenbelt Alliance on an urban birding adventure. We’ll observe the secret life of shorebirds and then focus on some intrepid winter migrants and early spring arrivals as we “bird” Sutro Baths and Sutro Heights. This outing is for beginning though more experienced birdwatchers.
Rain Policy: Rain cancels.
What to bring: Good walking shoes, warm clothing, and binoculars (instruction on their use provided).
How to get there: We will meet at 8:30 at the Merrie Way parking lot overlooking Sutro Baths. (Point Lobos and Merrie Way). Parking is free, SF Muni access, Bus #18, and 38, with the 38 stop at 48th and Point Lobos a short block away.
