Rating: This is a five-mile walk on one of the most scenic stretches of San Francisco Bay Trail. No elevation change.

Notes: We will walk to savor the scenic shoreline Bay Trail. Starting with the historic Ford Assembly Plant designed by Alfred Kahn, we will circumnavigate Richmond’s Marina Bay yacht harbor exploring four shoreline parks containing fascinating exhibits in Rosie The Riveter/WW II Home Front National Historical Park and then along bay shoreline with stunning vistas and past tidelands teeming with wintering shorebirds and bay ducks to reach Point Isabel Regional Shoreline. After the walk, participants may dine at a nearby deli or restaurant. This is a one way walk. We will use a car shuttle to return to the trailhead.
Rain Policy: Hike is canceled in event of rain.
What to bring: Liquids, snacks, binoculars, camera and walking shoes. Dress in layers.
How to get there: Take I-580 to Richmond, exit Marina Bay Parkway and drive toward the Bay. Turn right on Regatta Blvd. just before second traffic light. Drive to end and turn left on Marina Way South. Meeting place is Lucretia Edwards Park at end of Marina Way South.
