Big Rock Ramble

Rating: This is a moderately strenuous 6-7 mile hike with over 1000 feet of elevation gain.

Group: Open to all. Reservations required.

Notes: We'll climb the green hills of Lucas Valley to Big Rock Ridge for great panoramic views of the North Bay and beyond.

Rain Policy: Hike is cancelled in the event of rain.

What to bring: Bring snacks, lunch, and liquids. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and dress in layers. There are no restrooms at the trailhead.

How to get there:
From US 101 in Marin County, exit Lucas Valley Road. Drive west on Lucas Valley Road about 5.3 miles to the Big Rock parking area at the crest of Lucas Valley Road.
