Rating: This is a moderate hike of 9 miles with very little elevation gain.
Group: Open to all. Co-sponsored by the Sierra Club.
Status: Spaces available. Reservations required.

Notes: Explore Tolay Creek in the Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area on the northern tip of San Pablo Bay. This hike boasts an array of marsh wildlife and great views.
Rain Policy: This outing will proceed rain or shine.
What to bring: Lunch, water, and sturdy shoes. Dress in layers and bring sun protection..
How to get there:
There are no bathrooms
or water at the trailhead, so please plan ahead.
We will
meet at 1:30 pm at the parking lot at the Tolay Creek Unit of the Napa-Sonoma
Marshes Wildlife Area on the south side of Highway 37. From Marin, take Highway
101 north to Highway 37 east and look for the parking lot on the south side
near the intersection with Highway 121.
From the East Bay, take 580 over the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge and then 101
north to Highway 37 east and look for the parking lot on the south side near
the intersection with Highway 121. Alternatively, you can take Highway 80 over
the Carquinez Bridge to Highway 37 west and drive toward the intersection with
121. If you are heading west on Highway 37, you will need to make a U-turn
on Highway 37 in order to get in the south side parking lot.
