Notes: Explore the natural history of this remarkable open space. This loop hike takes us through forests and meadows to rugged beaches at the wild edge of the continent and back again.

Rain Policy:

What to bring: Lunch, snacks, water, sturdy shoes, sun protection, layered clothing.

How to get there:
We will meet at 10:30 am in front of the Point Reyes Bear Valley Visitor Center.

Directions: Take Highway 101 north to the Central San Rafael exit. Turn left on Third Street and continue through San Rafael and San Anselmo until the road merges with Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Bear right at the merge onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd. until you reach Highway 1 at Olema. Turn right onto Highway 1 and take the first left to reach to Point Reyes Bear Valley Visitor Center.
