Notes: Join us to explore the natural beauty and cultural history of Point Pinole Regional Shoreline . This scenic 2,315-acre headland is the largest shoreline park on San Pablo and San Francisco bays with 100 years of explosives manufacturing history prior to being acquired by East Bay Regional Park District. Learn about acquisition of the former Breuner Marsh property south of Point Pinole and plans to complete the San Francisco Bay Trail and restore degraded wildlife habitat.

What to bring: Lunch, liquids, sturdy shoes and binoculars. Dress in layers.

How to get there:
By car, take the Richmond Parkway from I-80 or I-580 to exit at Atlas Road and follow the signs to Point Pinole Regional Shoreline staging area.
