Rating: This is an easy walk of about one mile with some hills.

Group: Open to all. Reservations required.

Fees: Greenbelt Alliance will receive a special group rate: Ages 15-54: $5.50; 55+ $4.50; 2-14: $4.50. Participants can pay before the outing using our online system, or via check, money order or cash. Cash and checks are accepted the day of the outing. Checks should be made out to Greenbelt Alliance. Notes: Join us for a “behind the scenes” view of the Oakland Zoo. We’ll enjoy a private tour and then get close up and personal with some small zoo animals. Explore the zoo on your own in the afternoon.

Rain Policy: Outing will continue rain or shine.

What to bring: Dress in layers, bring rain protection as necessary.

How to get there:
We will meet at the zoo entrance at 10 am. (There is a $6 parking fee)

From Highway 580 in Oakland, take the Golf Links/98th Avenue and drive east to the Zoo (9777 Golf Links Road).
