East Bay - Greenbelt Outing
This hike takes us through old ranchland, now preserved as a watershed. We'll see what the East Bay was once like as we venture through abandoned orchards and past old homesteads. Along the trail there are many native plants and trees, including madrones, coast redwoods, bays, and oaks. As we walk along riparian areas, we’ll be treated to varied birdlife, including egrets and herons. We’ll ascend a high ridge for beautiful views of the East Bay landscape.
