a Strong Urban Limit Line in Contra Costa County
As part of the reauthorization of the
Measure C Transportation Sales Tax in Contra Costa County, the county and cities
will have to agree on and abide by a county-wide limit to growth until 2034.
Contact your
local representative and urge them to protect open space through a tight urban
limit line.

Alert: Save Lagoon Valley!
On June 12th, the Friends of Lagoon Valley--with help from
Greenbelt Alliance--launched a referendum campaign in response to the Vacaville
City Council's approval of a proposal to build 1300 homes, a golf course and
one million square feet
of commercial space in Lagoon Valley.

for a Good Cause at Sports Basement!
Stock up on outdoor gear, and support Greenbelt Alliance! Shop at
Sports Basement in the Presidio on Saturday, June 19 from 8 AM to 6
PM, and 20% of the purchase price will go to Greenbelt Alliance to
help protect open space in the Bay Area.

new role as our Communications Director.
