Phone Bank for the Greenbelt

We need your help. In this fall's special election, thousands of acres of local open space are at risk from deceptive developer-backed ballot measures. If successful, these initiatives would open up thousands of currently protected acres in eastern Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. Sprawl development on these lands will ruin beautiful natural areas, worsen traffic congestion and increase air pollution. Perhaps even worse, they would set a Bay Area precedent for pro-sprawl initiatives that falsely promise land protection.

Greenbelt Alliance is determined to beat back sprawl development at the ballot box. The developers have much more money, but we have supporters all around the Bay Area—and you can make the difference in this campaign!

Help us contact voters in the East Bay cities that are under attack from these sprawl developer-backed initiatives. We will gather at our downtown San Francisco office, our Walnut Creek office, and Pittsburg on the days listed below to call voters in Pittsburg, Antioch, Brentwood, and Livermore and urge them to vote against these deceptive initiatives. We will provide scripts, training, and food! Join fellow supporters to protect the greenbelt and the region. All shifts are from 5:30 - 9:00 pm.
