Amie Fleming manages Greenbelt Alliance’s community of supporters and database strategy. She is committed to building efficient systems that allow staff to spend more time connecting with those who support our important work, and to providing data analytics that make everyone’s life a little easier.
Before joining the Greenbelt Alliance team, Amie worked for outdoor recreation and education nonprofits such as the Appalachian Mountain Club, National Outdoor Leadership School, and High Mountain Institute. Prior to that, she spent her undergraduate years at Colby College in Maine studying urban sprawl and environmental history.
Amie decided to move to the Bay Area because she finds outdoor education, land conservation, and thoughtful urban development to be deeply intertwined here. At Greenbelt Alliance, she is happy connecting with our supporters and working towards a sustainable Bay Area.
Amie graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine with a B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society.
