Luisa Siravo brings nearly 14 years of fundraising experience to lead Greenbelt Alliance’s talented and dedicated advancement team in securing the resources needed to meet our annual budget, provide long-term stability, and support the mission of the organization.
Prior to joining Greenbelt Alliance, Luisa plied her trade at UC Berkeley School of Law, working with major and principal level donors during a successfully completed $125 million campaign. In addition to working with major donors, she also spearheaded strategic outreach to foundations and corporations; served in an advisory role to annual giving, stewardship, alumni relations and communications programs, and centers and clinics fundraising; and provided institutional knowledge to inform initiatives and strategic planning. For over six years, she also served on UC Berkeley’s Fundraising Executive Committee where she collaborated with colleagues across the UC Berkeley campus to engage the campus fundraising community.
A native of Italy, Luisa grew up in a small rural community southeast of Rome where she was steeped in sustainable farming practices, buying local, and safeguarding the land and history of the area. She continues to be passionate about the environment and sustainability. In her free time, she enjoys cooking with local and in-season ingredients and hiking in the East Bay hills where she’s been a resident with her husband and two daughters for over 20 years.
A graduate of Arcadia University in Pennsylvania, Luisa has a background in technical writing, speaks fluent Italian, and has a working knowledge of French.
