Protect Rohnert Park’s Open Space: Renew the UGB
An overwhelming 71% of Rohnert Park voters chose to establish an urban growth boundary (UGB) around the city by passing Measure N. First enacted in June 2000, the UGB has protected Rohnert Park for 20 years. Now, it’s time to renew that boundary. The City of Rohnert Park will hold a special election on Nov. 5, 2019 to renew the UGB. We need your support!
The UGB is a line around the city that contains development. It protects surrounding open space and farmland from unhealthy sprawl.
The City Council has agreed to a special election before the UGB expires to prevent any lapse in voter protections. Sign your name below to show your support for the UGB and receive updates on the vote coming up in November. Together we’ll protect Rohnert Park for another 20 years.
