A scene of Briones Park

Briones Park in Winter

Date:
Sunday, January 27, 2019
Time:
9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Cost:
Free, RSVP required.
Place:
Briones Regional Park
Martinez, Contra Costa County

Put down your copy of Spores Illustrated and join Greenbelt Alliance for a winter wander in Briones Regional Park.

Mushroom enthusiast Debbie Klein will help us identify the fungi we encounter along the trail. (We’ll just be looking, no collecting allowed in the East Bay Regional Parks.) We’ll also visit at a couple of lagoons (aka “newtist colonies”) and see how the park’s amorous amphibians get a jump on Valentine’s Day.
