Come enjoy a delightful vernal hike in San Pedro Valley Park.

We’ll enjoy wildflowers, native shrubs, and trees on our route as we pass through coastal scrub and riparian plant communities. If there have been late-season rains, we may even see Brooks Falls as the water plunges 175 feet in three tiers.

One Comment on “South Bay: San Pedro Valley Park

  1. Just a “heads up,” in case the Sunday, Feb. 17, hike to Brooks Creek isn’t canceled due to rain, there will be a number of “rain or shine” trail runners at San Pedro Valley Park, including on the Brooks Creek Trail, at times during day. Currently, there’s about 160 total signed up for the 50K, Marathon, 20-Mile, and Half Marathon events whose course includes the Brooks Creek Trail, and about 60 others signed up for the 10K which is only on the Hazelnut Loop Trail. (Link to race trails pasted below.) Hope rain doesn’t cancel any plans!
