East Bay: Briones Wildflower Ramble

Join Greenbelt Alliance board member Bob Johnson for a delightful hike featuring wildflowers and great views.

Bob will lead us through Homestead Valley and up the Briones Crest, Crescent, and Yerba Buena Trails. Along the way, we’ll enjoy spring wildflowers, shrubs, and trees along with beautiful scenery.

This is a moderate hike of about six miles with an 800 foot elevation gain.
Weather Policy:

Steady rain cancels.

Where to Meet:

We’ll assemble at the Bear Creek staging area off Bear Creek Road, just north of the intersection with Happy Valley Road. After the entrance kiosk, make an immediate left into the first parking lot. There are restrooms near the parking area.

Leaders Note:

Bring lunch, liquids, dress in layers, and wear good hiking shoes. Bring hiking poles if you normally use them. Portions of the trail may be muddy.
