Fernandez Ranch Ramble
Join us for a saunter in fantastic Fernandez Ranch, one of the open space treasures preserved and managed by the John Muir Land Trust.
Our route includes the Whipsnake, Woodrat, Woodland, and Windmill Trails (and any other path we come across starting with the letter “W”). We’ll keep an eye out for the oddly-shaped flower of Dutchman’s Pipe, host plant for the beautiful Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly.

We’ll meet at the parking area for Fernandez Ranch. There is an outhouse and drinking fountain near our meeting area.
Bring liquids, lunch, dress in layers, and wear good hiking shoes. Bring poles if you normally use them.
If you have questions about this outing, email Ken Lavin or phone (415) 543-6771 x321.
