Healing the Land: Sonoma Fire Walk
Join us for a special hike on lands that are healing from the October 2017 Sonoma County fires.
We’ll experience the greening of the charred landscape and look for fire-follower flowers with experts from the Sonoma Ecology Center and Teri Shore, Greenbelt Alliance North Bay Field Director.

We’ll assemble near the main parking lot for Sonoma Valley Regional Park.
Bring water, lunch, dress in layers, and wear good hiking shoes. Bring poles if you normally use them. You may wish to bring binoculars. The walk will be on both paved paths and single track trails, so be prepared for mud. There is a $7 per vehicle park entrance fee. If you have any questions about this outing, email Ken Lavin or phone him at 415-543-6771 x321.
