Cascading Carson Falls
Can’t get enough waterfalls? Then join us on a hike to Marin’s spectacular Carson Falls.
First, we’ll head uphill on Pine Mountain, through scrub and Sargent Cypress with great views of Marin. Then, it’s down through green grassland and some bay and buckeye trees as we follow a small creek to its two-stage plunge over a cliff. We’ll get a chance to view the falls from above, stop for lunch nearby, and then go down a series of steps to view the falls from below.

We’ll go rain or shine.
We’ll assemble at the Azalea Hill parking area, off Fairfax-Bolinas Road in Fairfax.
Bring water, snacks and lunch, dress in layers (bring rain gear if it’s wet) and wear good hiking shoes. Bring poles if you normally use them. If you have questions about this outing, email Ken Lavin or phone (415) 543-6771 x321.
