Lake Hopping in Golden Gate Park

Minnesota is known as the land of 10,000 lakes, but did you know that Golden Gate Park has 10 lakes of its own? We’ll visit nine of them on this lacustrine adventure in the urban park built on sand dunes.

This is an easy seven mile walk on mostly level ground.

Where to Meet:

We’ll assemble in front of the Model Yacht Club at the 36th Avenue and Fulton Street entrance. There are restrooms there. Street parking inside the park on JFK Drive and 36rd Avenue.
