Minnesota is known as the land of 10,000 lakes, but did you know that Golden Gate Park has 10 lakes of its own?

We’ll visit nine of them and see much more on this Ides of March adventure in the urban park built on sand dunes.

This is a moderate walk of about six miles on mostly level ground.

Rain cancels.

Where to Meet:

We’ll assembleĀ in front of the Model Yacht Club at the 36th Avenue and Fulton Street entrance. There are restrooms near our meeting spot. Street parking is available inside the park on JFK Drive and 36rd Avenue.
