Had your fill of Easter eggs? Then come join us for a spring wildflower hunt on Mount Diablo.

Mitchell Canyon is a Bay Area floral hot spot, and we are sure to find some rare and not-so-rare spring bloomers as we hike. We’ll share stories of early botanical pioneers, explain how the flowers come to be named, and describe Native American uses of local flowering plants. Don’t be surprised if we spot some native (Easter) bunnies along the trail.
