Amy Henson is her best self when caffeinated and working for a great cause. For more than a decade she’s driven growth strategies for non-profit organizations and higher education.
At Greenbelt Alliance, Amy works across the organization to foster unified, creative, and data-backed marketing, program, and fundraising efforts. In addition to her marketing focus, she is serving as Interim Development Director.
Prior to moving to the Bay Area, Amy lived and worked in Chicago, IL where she marketed engineering education and served as an adjunct professor, specializing in digital media and communication for engineers. Now, as a California native and ever-so-optimistic A’s fan, she can be found hiking the hills with her furry best friend or basking in the Bay Area’s art, culture, and music.
Amy is a member of the Forbes Communications Council and guest contributor at Forbes.com. She writes about marketing and communications with a particular focus on non-profits.
