A Bay Area native, CC (She/Her) is passionate about place-based community resilience and land stewardship. She is a farmer, organizer, and researcher, and sees the climate crisis as a call to transform our relationships with the land and each other.
Previously CC worked at Forward Together, a reproductive justice organization that builds power with communities to reshape policy and culture. She has collaborated with farm workers in Maine to create an economic impact study and documentary series. CC lived in Catalunya, Spain, for many years, where she was active in the tenant’s rights movement.
CC holds a Masters in Sociology and Demography from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Oberlin College. Outside of work, CC loves hanging out with friends and family, hiking, and jumping in the ocean.
