Ride with Greenbelt Alliance
Want to ride your bike on a fully-supported trip through California and support Greenbelt Alliance? You can this September 9-13, 2012 on Climate Ride. Climate Ride is an opportunity to pedal with others who care about sustainability, renewable energy and bike advocacy, while raising money for Greenbelt Alliance.
Past participants of Climate Ride rave about the tour as a ‘life-changing’ and ‘eye-opening’ experience. You’ll get to ride and help support Greenbelt Alliance’s mission. Select Greenbelt Alliance as your sole beneficiary and we’ll receive 50%-60% of the funds you raise. The rest of the money goes to support Climate Ride, the organization that is putting on the event.
You can register for $75 (which includes a great jersey, road support, and more), and then you raise at least $2400 to participate in this all-inclusive 5-day bicycle tour. The ride is fully-supported by a team of talented leader-hosts, bike mechanics, medics, and massage therapists. Climate Ride is also one of the ‘greenest’ multi-day, charity-ride events in the world.
You’re invited to a meet and greet on May 1st to learn more about the Climate Ride and hear the experiences of past riders Eva Stevens and Tomasso Boggia. They will share photos, stories and perhaps inspire to you to sign up for the ride! All are welcome to attend.
Please contact Evan Lovett-Harris if you have any questions or want additional information.
