Executive Chef Oscar Gonzalez of the Fairmont San Francisco
Executive Chef Oscar Gonzalez brings more than a decade of experience and a lifetime of culinary passion to his role at the iconic Fairmont San Francisco. His culinary philosophy focuses on simplicity—treating every ingredient with passion and respect—and he views the positive relationship between chefs and the purveyors and growers they work with as a top priority. Recognizing the importance of sustainable and locally grown food, Chef Gonzalez often incorporates ingredients from Fairmont San Francisco’s very own rooftop—sourcing honey from their apiary and herbs and flowers from the Chef’s bountiful garden.
Greenbelt Alliance defends the region’s natural and agricultural landscapes from development while ensuring neighborhoods within our cities and towns are amazing places for everyone. Read more about our mission.
