Online Donations & Gift Matching
Many companies have a matching gift program for current and retired employees. All you have to do is ask. First, make a donation and be sure to keep your receipt. Many corporate matching programs will give you up to one year after your donation to request a match.
Then, we’ll help you find your company’s matching gift program. It’s that easy!
Ask your broker to contact us and provide your name, the stock name and ticker symbol, and the number of shares you’re donating. Then, they should contact Kitty Huang at Charles Schwab 415-263-4388 or email@example.com to credit the gift to Greenbelt Alliance DTC: 0164, Acct. #7220-1741.
Your tax advisor and broker can advise on tax deductibility and transfer timing.
Automatic Monthly Giving
Monthly giving through our Greenbelt Guardian program is convenient and flexible. Greenbelt Guardians provide reliable monthly funding which allows us to do our work today and plan for the future. And you can make changes anytime! Enroll in our Greenbelt Guardian program by making a monthly donation online.
A planned gift can take effect after your lifetime, or it can provide income during your life while assigning the remainder to Greenbelt Alliance. All of our planned giving donors are also lifetime members of the Jack Kent Legacy Society. Find out more about planned gifts here or contact us here.
Donate A Vehicle
Why settle for a low trade-in on your used car, boat, RV—or any vehicle? Instead, support the cause you love. By donating your vehicle, you’ll help Greenbelt Alliance and qualify for a bigger tax deduction. For more information or to get started on your vehicle donation visit our partner page at CARS. They’ll even pick it up for you! Get details about the process here.

Support The Farms and Ranches Forever Campaign in Honor of John Chapman
Since 1984, more than 200,000 acres of Bay Area farmland—an area six times the size of San Francisco—have been lost to sprawl development. Greenbelt Alliance is spurring county policies to protect agriculture and help local farmers and ranchers succeed. Please join us in protecting the future of our Bay Area agricultural lands. This campaign honors the legacy of our late board president, John Chapman, who loved and fought for Bay Area farms and ranches all his life. Learn more about our Farms and Ranches Forever campaign.
