Meet Steve
Steve Shanks is a member of the Greenbelt Alliance Board of Directors.
Steve Shanks has over fifteen years of development, design, and construction management experience in the commercial building sector. He is responsible for managing the design and entitlement process for many of SKS’ projects including 181 Fremont, the McClintock Building, 270 Brannan, and Oyster Point.
Prior to joining SKS, Steve was a project director at Thornton Tomasetti, a structural engineering and architecture firm, where he was responsible for the design, construction administration, and structural investigation of many notable projects, including the ABN AMRO Plaza tower and the historic Wrigley Building renovation. Steve holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
