Marcia has extensive leadership experience in local and regional government as both an elected and appointed official. A two-time elected Town Councilmember and 2019- 2020 Mayor of Los Gatos, Marcia is an accomplished, experienced, and creative leader in the public policy arena. Over the years she has been a collaborative partner in the development and implementation land use planning, housing, transportation, and economic recovery initiatives with a recent focus on planning for wildfire preparedness in Wildland Urban Interface areas.
Marcia currently serves as a principle in the land use and urban planning consulting firm Harmonie Advisory Partners, where she focuses on the early identification, analysis, and resolution of issues through a proactive, solution-oriented approach. A fourth generation Californian, Marcia holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, a J.D. from the University of Santa Clara, and an Executive Masters in Urban Planning from the University of California, earned in 2020. She lives in the South Bay with her husband.
