Meghan Hart

Meet Meghan

As the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy (GSPP) Fellow, Meghan Hart is doing her Capstone project with Greenbelt Alliance to develop a policy analysis framework. This framework will strengthen the organization’s understanding of policy proposals and inform our legislative advocacy.

Meghan is an analyst interested in housing policy that reflects how programs actually work on the ground for both the people implementing them and the people using them. She earned a B.S. in Sociology from Brigham Young University and is currently completing a Master’s in Public Policy at UC Berkeley. Her experience includes studying barriers to homeownership with the California Department of Housing and Community Development and helping develop a housing policy framework for local elected officials with the Abundance Elected Network. Originally from Salt Lake City, she is enjoying life near the ocean—even if the beach is usually chilly. In her free time, she likes long walks with her dog and listening to audiobooks.
