Vote YES On Measure V for Affordable Homes in San Jose

Update: Unfortunately Measure V did not pass in the November 2018 election.

To help alleviate the Bay Area’s ongoing struggle to provide homes people can afford, Greenbelt Alliance endorsed San Jose’s Measure V, an affordable housing bond. Measure V would have authorized a $450 million bond to build more homes in San Jose that would have been targeted at working families, veterans, seniors, teachers, nurses, paramedics, and others.

The city has set an ambitious goal of adding 10,000 affordable homes over the next five years. If passed by a ⅔ majority of voters in November, the measure would have been a valuable resource for San Jose as it works towards that goal.
