A partnership with Greenbelt Alliance—through services, sponsorships, or tailored opportunities—means 100% of your contribution will make a local impact here in the Bay Area.
Over Greenbelt Alliance’s nearly 70-year history, we have stewarded the Bay Area’s beautiful natural landscapes while promoting the growth needed to create thriving communities for generations to come. As a result, today, almost 3.3 million acres of the Bay Area’s nine counties are protected open spaces. But our region has a major problem. We aren’t ready for climate change. So Greenbelt Alliance is rising to the challenge by leveraging our decades of experience to educate, advocate for bold change, and collaborate across sectors to address the climate crisis.
Establishing and fostering partnerships is crucial to our success.
Greenbelt Alliance provides trusted regional coordination, deep community accountability, technical and policy fluency, equity-centered engagement and training, and long-term stewardship beyond individual projects. Through regional governance, capacity building, grassroots engagement, workforce development, and strategic communications, Greenbelt Alliance bridges institutional silos, centers frontline communities, and translates climate plans into coordinated action..
