Team Greenbelt Alliance has survived Climate Ride 2012!

Dear Greenbelt Alliance Supporter,

From September 9-13, we twelve brave men and women (the biggest team, by the way) represented Greenbelt Alliance on Climate Ride 2012, a 320-mile bicycle ride down the picturesque Northern California coastline from Eureka to San Francisco. Our team raised more money than any other team on the Ride, bringing in over $41,000 in donations! Amazing!

Throughout those five glorious days, we had countless adventures while experiencing the great diversity and beauty of Northern California firsthand. We even made a pit stop at Hog Island for an oyster break! My teammate Zoe’s favorite memory was riding by the ranches in Sonoma, going through beautiful rolling hills, and then reaching Tomales Bay, where the smell of salt and the gleaming afternoon sun made her feel so lucky to be there.

We would love for you to join Team Greenbelt Alliance on the next Climate Ride, taking place May 19-23, 2013! I highly, highly recommend the experience—not only do you get to enjoy the gorgeous California coast while getting your cardio in, but you meet inspiring people who are passionate about sustainability.

Come ride with us! Register for the May Climate Ride. And be sure to check out our photos from the ride in our Facebook album!

Sincerely,

Evan Lovett-Harris
