Greenbelt Alliance hosted an East Bay bus tour designed to show examples of good development and to get a sense of the opportunities for new development around Antioch’s new BART station.
“Climate change is such a major problem…. Communities are being built farther and farther out, into farmland, into open space, in a sprawling manner,” says Marla Wilson, Sustainable Development Associate. “There just aren’t enough homes—especially affordable homes—near transit, near where people work.”
