Allie (she/her) is dedicated to working with residents to build climate resilient communities across the Bay Area. She brings a background of grantmaking, policy analysis, and extreme heat resilience planning. Prior to joining Greenbelt Alliance, she led the development of the Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Grant Program as an Associate Planner at the California Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation. Her experience also includes climate resilient building codes in Maine and rural economic development at the Mammoth Lakes Trails and Public Access Foundation.
She is currently pursuing a Master in City Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a B.S. in Community and Regional Development from UC Davis.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Allie has deep roots in the region. On a weekend, you can find her rock climbing, backpacking, or conducting science demonstrations as an “explainer” at the Exploratorium.
