Lupita M. González (she/her/ella) brings a collaborative spirit and a background in project management, community events, and grant coordination to her role as Engagement and Operations Manager at Greenbelt Alliance. She has managed complex, creative, multi-agency climate programs at the Exploratorium, where she supported contract administration, cultivated relationships with grant officers and partners, and helped teams work with clarity and care to create interactive learning experiences. Lupita is passionate about building systems that make impact-driven work smoother, more equitable, and more joyful. At Greenbelt Alliance, she supports donor engagement, organizational operations, and coordinating thoughtful events that connect communities to climate resilience.
A Bay Area native currently based in Oakland, Lupita holds a M.S. in Kinesiology & Public Health from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a B.S. in Kinesiology from San Francisco State. Outside of work, she loves painting, tending to her houseplants, exploring the coast with her dog Dewey, laughing with friends, and going to concerts.
