Earth Day events here go beyond celebration—they’re about taking action, building community, and prompting long-term change. This year, the region is buzzing with everything from hands-on volunteer projects to vibrant festivals, and our team is joining the celebration. Earth Day Festivals

Across the Bay Area, cities and counties are hosting free, family-friendly Earth Day festivals and we’ll be tabling to promote our climate resilience programs! These celebrations feature inspiring exhibits organized by green businesses, artists, and community groups, giving you the opportunity to learn about everything from clean energy to climate justice. Plus: live performing arts and delicious food!

Oakland Community Workshop

Councilmember Fife and the City of Oakland invite you to a free, engaging workshop to hear your thoughts on the General Plan Update’s Draft Land Use Framework – a plan that focuses on achieving key community priorities, like building housing next to transit, taking care of parks, and creating more access to services in each neighborhood. Be sure to check out our table at the workshop to learn more about our new shoreline initiative—the Port of Oakland Waterfront Resilience Plan.
