Our May volunteers of the month are Greenbelt Alliance outings leaders Bruce and Sandra Beyaert.
Bruce and Sandra are experienced hike leaders who enjoy sharing their knowledge of Bay Area trails and the natural world. They are supporters of preserving and protecting open space both for habitat and human enjoyment.
Sandra is a retired schoolteacher, while Bruce is a director for the San Francisco Bay Trail Project and chairs the Trails for Richmond Action Committee. In 2010, Bruce was chosen as the San Francisco Bay Area’s Cox Conserves Hero. Join Bruce and Sandra this summer for Bay Trail Loop on August 7.
