Countdown to Earth Day: Bay Area Gems

In the midst of COVID-19, we’ve found that amid fear and solitude, there is no better time to honor our open spaces and the natural world around us. That’s why we’re sharing our team’s favorite outdoor and natural gems with you in a countdown to Earth Day’s 50th anniversary on April 22. As the situation evolves, we are increasing our emphasis on nature-focused activities you can do at home, as well as parks and open spaces we can visit once restrictions on gatherings are lifted. Enjoy!

We ask that if you do visit our region’s spectacular open spaces, follow recommended public health guidelines and social distancing protocols to stay safe. Guidelines for social distancing on the trail are listed here.
